Using The Western Experience Website

Our new AP European History text will provide us some new and unique ways to explore European history and achieve higher AP test scores. One of the reasons I wanted this particular textbook was because of its useful interactive companion website. So… let’s use it!

1. You may want to keep this window open so that you can refer back to the directions!
   
   
2. Go to the website here (if you are at home – bookmark it)

3. Go to the current chapter(s). There is a neat menu located on the left hand side of the page. Although you can use any part of this site, it is important that you access the following on the left hand side to test your understanding of the material:

• Multiple Choice Quiz
• Identification
• Chronology Exercises
• Significant Individuals
  
  

4. Use your Tracking Sheet to keep your scores. I won’t grade the scores that you place on this sheet – it is for you to self- evaluate & realize when/where more effort is required to get you the scores you are capable of attaining in May. Keep this in your notebook on the back cover page! I will, at times, give a grade for completing this sheet!

1. I will also make this worthwhile to you grade wise as I will always include some material from these pages on upcoming tests.
